The book has been sold worldwide by Lulu Press and it inspired British Actor Russell Brand to actually help him with a portion in his feature film that he is currently producing called "Russell's Happy Project" about the pursuit of happiness which will be released next summer 2011.
Russell flew me out to Los Angeles in May where I have spent the better part of five summers or roughly 60 weeks with the homeless. I myself finished filming Voices in the Sand this past January going homeless for the production. I am one of the few people in the country who have gained notoriety with this work. It is an honor.
