THE BATTLE

SURE WE CAN WALK AWAY....

WE WILL NEVER FORGET...AND WE DONT WANT ANOTHER FAMILY TO GO THROUGH IT--THE HIGHER POWER BLESSSED US...BUT TOO MANY HAVE LOST THEIR CHILDREN TO CANCER--WE CHOOSE TO NOT FORGET BUT RATHER, FIGHT THIS DISEASE WITH THEM!

OUR CAUSE:

JUST ONE WEEK PRIOR TO BEING DIAGNOSED WITH LEUKEMIA.

1999...Bo, a very sad Dad making too many friends who lost their children, yet grateful to be lucky enough to have my son...May the higher power rest the souls and spirits of the children who died while Colin was fighting for life--We will never stop praying for them or their family's... (Josh--Age 6, Matthew--Age 10, Monique--Age 17, Joan--Age 5)

Do you believe in miracles?...

In 2000, together with the help of the community, we raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to sponsor my son's Bone Marrow Drive. It was one of the largest in the history of New York State. We HLA typed 1,900 people here and a thousand more in Miami, almost unheard of, just ask the Long Island Blood Services.

In 2008, I started the "Dollar for Colin" Childhood Cancer Research project sponsored by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Long Island Chapter. Children with cancer need to have a fightring chance. We are doing our part. From a parents perspective it is life shattering to watch your child, any child have chemo, radiation, a Bone Marrow Transplant.
